Assignment Steps:
1. Divide into TEAMS of 3-4.
2. Choose 1 of the following prompts:
A multiplayer game where gameplay breaks “social conventions/rules”
A multiplayer game meant to foster intimacy/closeness
A multiplayer game that asks players to engage in ritual/superstition
A multiplayer game that relates to/or uses theater and performance
3. [With consideration to SCOPE] Create a plan for the prototype(s) you will need to
convey your concept.
4. Build your prototypes. Prepare to playtest in class.

Make a folder for your team in the “UNIT 2 Prototype SOCIAL” folder:
Upload video/image documentation of the prototype working (will be posted on web)
Upload narrative documentation.
Make sure to answer the questions listed below
Upload SEPARATE Team Narrative 1-2 pages: 1 paragraph written by each team member about their contributions
Documentation Questions:
Explain your idea for concept. (what is your idea?) Relate it to the readings.
What questions about game play are you trying to answer?
Good work answers an unanswered question/hypothesis
List/describe your prototype systems and mechanics.
Include any level design sketches/related documents (if applicable)
