Purpose:

To make sure all documentation is complete and ready to be put on the class website or referenced in portfolios if desired.

Prototype 2: (5 points) Prototype 3: (5 points)

Expectation

To be considered “complete” documentation must include the following

  1. 2-3 clear and edited text paragraphs of description explaining design vision/choices.

  2. Images: including screenshots/documentation of final game AND any desired assets or design sketches.

  3. Video: game being played. Ideally with sound and student talking over video explaining design idea and game play.

Here is an idea of what to talk about.

  1. What were your goals

  2. What were you able to complete

  3. What did you discover about process.

*note there may be some specific adjustments for specific games in past on video. Especially if it is a theater game with limited documentation. Your team can ping Samantha with how they want to represent it on discord.

*if you choose to polish a theater game for final prototype please arrange for high-quality documentation at final playtest.

Prototype Polish (15 possible points)

Purpose:

To apply what was learned from feedback and playtests and have a good prototype to showcase.

In addition to the playable prototype, I will also need:

  1. A paragraph from each person defining what you did (for teams)

  2. One page on what feedback you implemented and why
